VEINS

As the kratom tree matures, the leaves transition from white to green to red. The farmers harvest at very particular times to create different colors of kratom. Most importantly, the alkaloid profile in the leaves — which determines their effect — develops as the plant matures as well. As such, the kratom color gives an idea of the effects you can expect. 

Red has been used in Asia for centuries for its pain killing properties and the easing of opium withdrawals. Many have experienced relief of anxiety and insomnia. 

Yellow/Gold has been described as an aid for relaxing and cerebral stimulation along with an overall well being. Some users experience mild euphoria with ample pain relief.  (Yellow/Gold is actually not a vein but a blend of green and red vein dried together)
